AND REBATES

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Available for Speech Pathology, OT and Psychology services.

 

Our therapists are registered with NDIA to provide services to self-managed and agency managed participants.

Medicare Rebates

Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) – formerly EPC 

Available for Speech Pathology and OT services.  

 

For children and young people who have a “chronic condition” (including communication delay/disorder) and who require support from at least two specialist health care professionals. 

The referral must be made by a GP. Medicare rebate available for a maximum of five allied health service per patient each calendar year.

 

Better Access to Mental Health

Available for OT and psychology services.

 

This plan is available for children with related mental health conditions such as Anxiety, Attention or Behaviour Difficulties . 

Discuss with your GP to see if your child is eligible. Medicare rebates are available for up to ten individual and ten group allied mental health services per calendar year. 

 

Follow-up Allied Health Services for Children of Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander Descent

Available for Speech Pathology, OT and Psychology services.

 

Any child aged 0 – 18 years of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. The referral must be made by a GP. Medicare rebate available for a maximum of five allied health service per patient each calendar year.

 

Helping Children with Autism Medicare Plan 

Available for Speech Pathology, OT and Psychology services.

 

To access this plan your child must have a diagnosis of Autism. Under the Helping Children with Autism program, a child can be referred by a consultant paediatrician or psychiatrist.

 

Provides up to twenty treatment services for a child under 15 years of age. The treatment and management plan must be in place before the child’s 13th birthday.

Additional Funding

Helping Children With Autism (HCWA) Package – FaHCSIA funded

Available for Speech Pathology services.

 

Children aged 0 – 13 years who have a diagnosis of Autism. The referral must be made by a registered paediatrician or psychiatrist to a FaHCSIA funded Speech Pathologist.

 

Better Start for Children with Disability - FaHCSIA funded

 

For children aged 0 – 18 years who have a diagnosed eligible disability. The referral must be made by a specialist, consultant physician or GP.

Private Health Rebates

We are registered with all major health funds.  If you have private health cover, please contact your health

fund to discuss rebates.
